Putnam Central School is Putnam Station's "UNIQUE" rural school serves students from Pre-Kindergarten

through the 6th grade. This school is a place where certified staff provide students with individual attention, peer tutoring, literature-based reading, process writing, hands-on-learning, multi aged grouping, cross curricular-thematic instruction, the development of portfolios and the opportunity to developing themselves to their fullest potential in a positive school climate.
